Good-bye to AFM

dwcloseupWendy: After six fulfilling years with AFM, I have shifted gears. Throughout the years, God faithfully cared for my financial, physical and social needs, even in very isolated settings, and now He has provided me with a lifetime companion who is also dedicated to mission service!

Dwayne Harris, a helicopter pilot, dropped into our village last year to assist with the work here on Palawan. It wasn’t long before we fell in love and decided to join together in our service to God. The helicopter has already been a great help in speeding the work on Palawan, and Dwayne’s handyman skills have also been very welcome. He has almost finished building a new clinic for us!

Now that we are married, I will be joining Dwayne in his ministry, continuing to use my nursing skills to spread the good news by supporting established missionaries like the Georges. We will use the helicopter and the skills God has given us in any way that can help advance the work, including medical evacuation of locals and missionaries, providing roaming clinics and medical support, and transporting missionaries, Bible workers and supplies to more remote areas.
I praise God for the opportunity I’ve had to work with AFM and its caring staff in reaching the unreached. And I praise God for you, my supporters and prayer partners in mission work! You have been faithful. Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support.
